About Cindy

Cindy Johnson is a professionally trained goldsmith working in Kingston, Ontario. In addition to her signature nature-inspired jewellery, Cindy creates souvenir and fundraising pieces for corporate and tourism board celebrations as well as an annual ornament of Kingston-region sights and classical holiday themes.
Cindy began her career as the head designer goldsmith at Kingston’s Kinnear d’Esterre Jewellers, creating bespoke jewellery until the store’s closing in 2004. The pewter ornament collection began there in the late 1970s, an annual tradition that Cindy continues today. Bespoke pieces and repairs are Cindy’s main practice, and capturing mother nature in silver heirloom pieces is Cindy’s passion. Her work has appeared in galleries such as Renaissance Fine Jewelers and Metalworks as well as at craft fairs in Kingston including ArtFest, Fat Goose, the Women’s Art Show, and the Holiday Market.
Cindy brings the elegance and energy of mother nature to permanence in sterling silver.
